This splendid “half hoop” ring is a real stunner. We’re blown away by the intense green glow emanating from the trio of well saturated natural emeralds, each separated from its neighbor by a bright white antique diamond. The ring is signed T.B. Starr (an early partner in Marcus & Co.), and is skillfully crafted so that the top view is a solid bar of sparkling stones. A peek at the sides or shoulders however, reveals intricate scrolling gold tracery. 18k yellow gold ca. 1900.
