We’ve never seen another necklace quite like this. Centered on a glittering 4.00 carat, butter colored sapphire, the main pendant is formed almost like an acorn, the sapphire framed and capped with a magnificent dimensional crown of openwork and diamonds. What makes this even more remarkable is the overall structure of the necklace. Built as a sliding “Y” design, it feels fresh and almost modern, with a diamond and rock crystal bead acting as a slide. 14k yellow gold with 1.25 total carats in old European cut diamonds. Original chain measures 23” long, with the drop portion adding an additional 2.5”. Ca.1890.
