This Renaissance Revival ring is petite, but with a decidedly opulent feel. The level of detail is breathtaking, with twisting ropes of repoussè work on the shoulders and a scalloped buttercup head that has tiny glittering rose cut diamonds nestled into each petal. The central opal is a small but mighty powerhouse of swirling blues and greens. The overall effect has us feeling like this ring was lifted right out of a Raphael portrait of a noblewoman. 10k yellow gold, ca.1900. Current finger size 5.75.
