We wish we knew more about this delightful little curio. Fashioned completely from 14k gold, with jade wheels, a diamond head lamp and a ruby tail reflector, this tiny marvel is clearly the work of a mad jeweler/sculptor/ bike enthusiast. Talk about moving parts! The wheels spin, the handlebars turn and control the front wheel. The pedals turn, and the foot pads rotate on them. The seat, with its darling tiny springs, rotates, the license plate swings, and there’s even a working kickstand, so you can have it sitting on your desk. A crazy cool, all handmade, work of art, that could be furnished with a chain to wear as a pendant. ca.1950(?)
