Exceptional in every way, this glittery & delicious marvel of a ring is completely enchanting. The main attraction is a beautiful 1.25 carat antique rose cut diamond. Rose cuts, which have flat bottoms, read large, so this beauty takes up plenty of real estate on the hand. The stone is held in what we believe to be its original Georgian era silver mounting, which was set down into a lush 18k yellow gold band at some later point. The contrast between the velvety gold of the band and the big flashing facets of the rose cut has us swooning. Please note- Georgian era mountings have closed backs lined with foil, and require mindful wear. Treat this beauty kindly, and she will reward you. Band is 4.5mm wide. Diamond cut and set ca. 1830.
