Dating from ca. 1840, this special ring is both romantic and mysterious. A quartet of spectacularly chunky old mine cut diamonds nestle down into a nest of wirework and engraving that is kissed with rich cobalt blue enamel. The lozenge shape closely curves along the finger, and glittering diamonds toss plenty of sparkle around, while the rich color of the enamel adds interest and lots of dimension. 18k yellow gold with .80 total carats in antique diamonds. Slight enamel loss on shoulders, appropriate for age. Current finger size 5.75.
