We love a good moonstone, and they’ve become increasingly hard to find, so we were thrilled to recently acquire this rather magical specimen. The oval cabochon shines with an intensely blue glow that moves within the stone as you move. The setting is similarly regal, with a Gothic Revival feel featuring gracefully arched prongs and detailed scrolling on a substantial tapered shank. 14k yellow gold with a 5.25 ct moonstone ca. 1920.
