Grand and dramatic, these opulent earrings were designed around a splendid pair of cabochon cut natural sapphires in a soft, serene shade of blue. With a total sapphire weight of 6 carats, the sapphire game is strong, but it’s perfectly balanced by an impeccably constructed leafy framework of diamonds. The earrings sway just the right amount, suspended from a fully articulated little diamond chain. Decidedly glamorous, but in an elegant and refined way. 14k white gold with 6 total carats of sapphires and 1.15 total carats in very bright white diamonds. They measure 1 1/8" long, and are fitted with posts and secure friction backs, ca. 1950.
