This shimmering pendant gets its distinctive look from an old French enameling technique called guillochè. A pattern of fine lines is engraved onto a gold ground, and then transparent enamel is applied over it. The optical effect enhances both the tender color of the enamel and the light reflecting off of the bright engraving beneath it. This simple disc design, done in a dreamy lavender and set with a small pearl, has a surprise. The back is an open frame ready to hold your favorite photograph. It’s crafted of luscious 15k yellow gold and measures a full inch across.
