Like a figure skater cutting graceful arcs across the ice, twirling loops of platinum and diamonds delicately entwine and sparkle. Dropping from these graceful circles, are two articulated “icicles”, also set with diamonds. This pendant is a great example of the more romantic side of Art Deco design, with rounded forms, asymmetry, and fringe-y bits. Measuring a bit over 1.25” long, this ca.1920 pendant is fashioned of platinum over white gold, and holds .70ctw in bright white diamonds, and has been furnished with an 18” white gold chain.
