Looking like something rescued from a sunken pirate ship, the 22k gold scrollwork of this pendant glows, resplendent with luscious emeralds. Dating from ca. 1850, it was likely made in India, in the European style, for export to England. Between the 7 faceted gems and that juicy gumdrop of a center dangle, it packs a walloping 7 carats of verdant natural emeralds. This lush beauty measures approximately 2” long, and is suspended from a 16” 22k gold chain. A deeply satisfying ornament.
