This ring stopped us in our tracks when we spotted it at a recent show. The stone holds a vision of a ghostly tree by a fence… perhaps surrounding a graveyard? The image is naturally formed in the stone, a translucent dendritic agate. The stone inspired a bold, textured mounting that forms an appropriately somber frame. Black enamel details on each side reference scrolls, hearts, and ravens, in a slightly campy 1970’s homage to Victorian Gothic Revival jewelry. Definitely a one of a kind ring! 14k yellow gold ca.1970, finger size 11 (sorry, this ring can’t be sized).
